Measurement and Tree House Building

If you have been following our Blog you will have read about the Tree House we were building as part of our measurement unit in mathematics.  Well after two terms and a lot of time from our super builder Paul Truscott we are done!

It has been an awesome adventure and certainly a much more interesting way to learn about measurement than just sitting in the classroom!

Paul has been amazing and spent so much time with us all.  He not only gave us his time but also all the resources!  He was so good with us all and allowed us to be hands on and to really get involved with all aspects of the build.

We hope to have the official opening in the first week of Term 1 and will post the time on the Blog.

We all want to say a huge thank you to Paul for everything and to Miss Mutch for making our maths so practical and all about real stuff!

Here are a few photos of the process and the finished Tree House - we will get a photo with us all and Paul to add to it when we have officially opened it for all to play on.
