Pet Day

Today has just proved that you are never to old to make Sand Saucers and Fruit and Vegetable creations - A wonderful effort Room One.   I was also incredibly impressed with how helpful you all were through out the day and how well you managed yourselves -  I was so very proud of you, thank you...

A few photos of some of Room Ones creations (sadly I am not sure who got 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc, when I do I will post it).

Book Week comes to an end...

We have had a wonderful week this week - it has been so much fun having different teachers read to us - what a mixture of books, some old favourites and some new favourites.

Today, Friday, was the BIG Book Parade - the whole school came dressed as a character from a book and it was great to see who many students doing such a fabulous job of dressing up.

Year 8 students were no exception - we really got behind the event and set a great example to the rest of the school - you are never to old to dress up and have fun!

The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings - Gandalf x 4
Lone Ranger and Indian in the Cupboard - Cowboys x 2
Comic - Ironman

Cat in the Hat - Thing 1 & Thing 2
Comic - Batman
Moby Dick
Some Dogs do - Sid
Lilo and Stitch - Stitch

Book Week - 20th - 24th Ocotber

Room One are a class of BIG readers.

We love to be read to, read to others and read for personal enjoyment.

We set ourselves a challenge over the last holiday...

What is the most unusual place you can read?

We had some interesting photos...

Well done Room One for getting behind the idea.
